Saint-Gobain Lebanon receives French Ambassador
H.E. Madame Anne Grillo French Ambassador to Lebanon visits Saint-Gobain offices in Beirut
French Ambassador to Lebanon HE Madame Anne Grillo has spent the morning with Saint-Gobain teams in Lebanon accompanied by Mr. Francois de Ricolfis (Chef du Service Economique Régional) and Mr. Julien Velud (Conseiller Financier Adjoint Direction Générale du Trésor) from the French Embassy. The day started with a visit to Saint-Gobain Head office for East-MEd & Middle East in Dbayeh where Hady Nassif (Saint-Gobain CEO EMME cluster) and his team have presented the Saint-Gobain footprint and strategy in this zone. Then they both visited Saint-Gobain WEBER factory in Hosrayel (Jbeil) where Emmanuel Jacquot and his team have conducted a plant tour and presented the key challenges they are facing on the Lebanese market.
A summary of the relief and reconstruction action “Beirut Rising” undertaken by Saint-Gobain after Beirut blast on August 4th, 2020 was made on this occasion.
Madame Grillo thanked the Saint-Gobain team for their dynamic field support and the group’s generous donations. A living example of the engagement of France towards active economic, social and cultural involvement in Lebanon.
